Measure round the widest part of your dominant hand, between thumb and index finger

Your gloves should be tight the first time you try them. They are made of soft leather which will quickly stretch to a comfortable fit.

Fashion Gloves For Women

If you are active and dash about, you are at risk of slipping and fracturing your wrist, especially if your bones are less dense due to the natural ageing process. By the time you reach 45 your bones have already started to become brittle.

Fortunately, help is at hand. We’ve introduced a range of fabulous leather gloves which incorporate Giddins Guard technology. They feel comfortable and look great. But above all, they give you the reassurance that you’re protected against a wrist injury every time you go out.

Developed by an orthopaedic surgeon, the Giddins Guard was originally designed to prevent wrist fractures in snowboarders. Now active women everywhere can benefit from this technology.

Caring For Your Gloves

If your gloves get wet, allow them to dry naturally and away from any external heat source, such as a radiator, hair dryer or the sun. For heavy soiling, we recommend the services of a specialised leather dry cleaner.

If the soiling is light and not dried in, you may try the following:

1. Prepare a hand hot solution of soft soap flakes such as “Lux”.

2. Gently sponge down the outside leather of the gloves with this solution

3. Try not to saturate the leather and dab off any excess wetness with a clean dry cloth.

4. Allow the gloves to dry naturally and do not use any external heat source such as a radiator, hair dryer or the sun.

5. As the gloves are drying, put them onto the hands of the wearer several times. This will help to stretch the leather and restore the shape of the gloves to the profile of the hands.

If you decide to use a proprietary leather cleaner or conditioner, please read the product instructions carefully, and be sure the product you are using is suitable for your glove leather.

If you care for your gloves, as described above, your Giddins Guard will be unaffected. In the event of a fall or impact, check whether the hard shell has been fractured.

If it has been damaged in any way the efficacy of the Giddins Guard will be compromised and you should replace your Giddins Guard gloves. If you have had a number of heavy falls, even if the hard shell is intact we recommend replacing your Giddins Guard gloves. Even if you have not had a fall, we recommend replacing your Giddins Guard gloves after 3 years.
